After approaching two data recovery companies and being told in each case, after initial investigation payments were made, that the data was unrecoverable, hope was almost lost as well as the data. My hard disk crashed and I lost everything. I took it to my local computer business that I deal with and they were unable to retrieve any of the disc contents. I had not backed up the disc for the past 8 months or more and had all of my work files as well as family photos and important emails that were lost.
